Today marks 2 years since Russia invaded Ukraine.
I just want to remind Republicans in Congress that the last time Russia invaded a country (Afghanistan), the U.S. spent 3-6.7 Billion over 9 years (11-22 Billion in today's $) to break the USSR, and Operation Cyclone was done covertly without the House able to hold funding so the Russians could take back any ground and they were pushed out. For 45 years Russia has not made a full scale War. I would say that was money well spent.
So far the U.S. has spent 46.3 Billion on military aid to Ukraine in 2 years.
This is a different Russia, Putin is a Dictator with a insatiable desire for conquest, wealth and power. Everyday that military aid is delayed adds years to this War, and will end up costing the U.S. more money and the Ukrainians more losses and blood in the long run!

I sent this email to President Biden.
Dear Mr. President,
If you really want to win the next election and give the former President a second straight loss. Please do this one thing or this will be another close election that you could very well lose!
Make A.O.C. your new running mate, the Congresswoman from N.Y.'S 14th. is Very Popular with the Voters that you, are not popular with at all!
She could very well turn this into a Landslide Victory of Historical proportions!
Just think of what would have happened if Hillary would have picked Bernie to be her running mate? I don't see them losing in any of the Rust Belt States that Trump eked out by 75k votes.
Don't make the same mistake that she did, or you could find yourself a One Term President that won the popular vote again by millions but lost buy thousands in a few key states.
Vice President Harris is very capable but, Not Popular!!!
Even here in California, much less Michigan or Pennsylvania, you need some fire in your campaign, and that Firebrand is in Congress representing N.Y.'s 14th District, run with her and you win,
keep the same running mate and you just might lose!
Remember F.D.R. changed running mates and look how that worked out! Nothing you do will have such long reaching consequences!
The choice is up to you, be bold, fight to win, not to be nice or politically correct.
Generations of Americans will thank you long after you are gone.

I just sent this to the Democratic National Committee.
Dear DNC,
I just want to remind you of the consequences of your actions, by trying in 2016 and again in 2020 to stop Bernie from being President, we now have a Country that is less free and governed by a wholly owned Supreme Court by the minority party. Just imagine the Country we would be living in if the DNC had not put the hands on the scales in 2016 and again in 2020.
With a President Sanders we would have a 6 to 3 Court in our favor and all that that entails.
Roe would still be law, Voting Rights would still be in effect, Student loan forgiveness would have happened, and probably Medicare for All and an Assault Weapons Ban would be law to boot.
Not since the Republicans tried to keep T.R. out of the White House has a Party been so afraid of a Progressive Candidate, luckily that that worked out for the American People, this time not at all. Please embrace the next Progressive Candidate that comes along, because if the DNC does not, it does so at the peril of the future of Democracy.

The now super majority conservative Supreme Court has just ended their session last month with loud and clear statements that this is no longer A FREE COUNTRY FOR ALL AMERICANS!
Make no mistake, my fellow Americans, even the conservative ones, we are all less free today than we were just last month, or last year for that matter, just let me give you just a couple of examples.
One - Anyone can now descrimanate against anyone by just saying it is against their religion.
Two - No one that had to be given a seat at the table that was never there before, will ever have a that seat again. Whether it be in business contracts or in higher education or in the workplace.
Three - American Women are not free to have control over their bodies, for the first time in 50 years
I want to remind all Pro-Life Women that Roe vs Wade DID NOT INFRINGE ON YOUR BODY!
Four - American Students will not be free from crushing Student Debt. Big Banks and Corporations got relief and bailouts under the Hero's Act and other laws, but not the best and the brightest of America!
Just remember, Freedoms whether you agree with them or not, once lost for whatever reason, good or bad, are extremely hard to get back, and make future Freedoms easier to take away. I would rather live and die in a Free Country with all of the good bad and the ugly that goes with that Freedom. Than live in a Country where my Freedoms and the Freedoms of 330 million Americans are at the whims of SIX UNELECTED JUSTICES!
Even though it is hard to live in a truly Free Country, it is the hard that makes it great.
I think most of us could not live in a Country with with only a thin veil of Freedom,
I know I couldn't....

Tomorrow tuesday June 13th at 3:00pm, former President Trump is set to be arrested again, after being indicted for the second time this year. Trump is facing federal charges this time for his alleged mishandling of classified documents found at Mar-a-Lago. I wonder if Georgia will be calling soon?

Today the 45th President of the United States was arrested in New York for election crimes!
The former President pleaded not guilty before the judge, another one of his many lies....
One arrest down, three more coming soon to a courthouse in Georgia and Washington D.C.
55 years ago to this day M.L.K. was killed, maybe the arc of the moral universe does bend towards justice? It is just a little slow.
Also, today I sent this email to President Biden.
Dear Mr. President,
I just found out that your Dept. of Agriculture just came out with a cost saving program to cut 25% of milk and dairy to low income Mothers and their children from Federal food stamps! This should never happen on YOUR WATCH! This is why Democrats always lose the messaging wars to the Replublicans! You should hold a press conference on the White House lawn and FIRE your Agriculture Secretary, and remind all Americans that You, and the Democratic Party have been, and always will be, for poor Mothers and Kids getting more than enough MILK!!!!
Please turn this lemon into lemonade, for the good of your Presidency, the Party, the Country, and the poor American women and children…
This should never have happened, tell all your department heads that if they want to save some money, start with cuts to the wealthiest Americans first, before taking milk from poor kids!

Today the Supreme Court struck down Roe vs Wade, never before in history has the desires and beliefs of so few (6) effected the loss of rights and freedoms of so many (165 million).
They should've remembered that the Founders created all three branches so that we would be more free, not less. All that was done today was to make that bedrock of Freedom easier to turn to dust...

P.S. I think this is a discrimination and infringement of women's civil rights issue, let me explain. If a woman cannot family plan, how can she hold down a long term job or career, or even before that receive a continual education? That makes them slaves to their bodies and what is done to their bodies beyond their control. This Union cannot stand half slave and half free, this is what we fought the Civil War over, we must not create the same reasons to repeat that great loss of life! How can that be Pro Life? For woman to be able to choose life, first she has to have Choice.....

My favorite Author died today. R.I.P.
Larry Jeff McMurtry (June 3, 1936 – March 25, 2021) was an American novelist, essayist, bookseller, and screenwriter whose work was predominantly set in either the Old West or in contemporary Texas. His novels included, my personal favorite, Lonesome Dove. Which was adapted into a mini-series, and won the Pulitzer Prize.
My favorite line of Lonesome Dove is when Gus tells Jake, "anyone that will go along with 5 killings is taking their leave at little slow" just before they hang all of them, Jake included.
The Americans in the Republican Party should remember that, after January 6th. 5 were killed that day. Time to take your leave from that Party, if you haven't already.

Yesterday, January 6th 2021, a new date that will live in Infamy.
Our Capitol, was suddenly and deliberately attacked, by forces of the Empire of Trump.
This was a Home-Invasion perpetrated against all Americans, as the Capitol is the Peoples House.
Not even during the Civil War, did the Stars and Bars ever wave in and on the Capitol, but it did yesterday. How did we ever let the South rise again?
This Sacred Ground can never, ever, be given up so meekly and without a heavy toll paid, on both sides again! This cannot be allowed, this must not be allowed to stand! Everyone, and I mean everyone from the invaders, to the Congressional instigators, to the Instigator in Chief, must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law of the United States of America!

Congratulations to President Elect Joe Biden!
With all the states certifying it is finally official, Mr Biden you are going back to Washington.
But please Mr President Elect don't waste this opportunity like you did last time and try to get the Republicans to get on board with middle of the road bipartisan small changes that the two sides can agree on. You have an 80 million vote mandate to be bold! So think F.D.R. not Obama.
The Democratic Party as a whole, has and is afraid of the progressive wing, that is why all the other candidates jumped out of the race just before Super Tuesday, that was not by accident?
They were ordered too by the D.N.C. No other time in political history has so many decided to suspend their campaigns on the same day, and endorse one candidate, You, and why?
To stop Bernie, and the big bold changes he would have brought to the American People! Do you want to know how the Democrats kept the Republicans out of power for 20 years, the progressive policies of F.D.R. Social Security, The New Deal, and working for betterment of the working people
not Rich and Big Corporations that's how.
But for too long the Democrats and the D.N.C. have been just like the Republicans dialing for dollars and forgetting that we pay them too. Be bold and pass Medicare for All, take the cap off of Social Security so that it is fixed permanently, pass the Climate Reforms in the Green New Deal, pass a federal Minimum Wage of $15.00 hr. you will not regret it!

Happy Veterans Day to everyone that is and has served, never has so few protected so many, thank you all for all you do. Also a special shout out to my nephew who just became a U.S. Marine, I am so very proud of you everyday.
On Veterans Day, today the President laid a wreath at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, am I the only one who finds that disrespectful coming from the 5 time Draft-dodger in Chief ? I hope his bone-spurs were paining him.

Could this year get any worse, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg dies at 87 Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the liberal justice who was diagnosed with colon cancer in 1999, passed away Friday, the court announced. You were a great champion of the people, and your vote will be missed by freedom loving men and especially women of America.
I just hope the Democrats remember how the Republicans stalled President Obama's nominee because it was his last lame duck year, if ever there was a lame duck President, it is Trump!

life as we have known it since the Social Security Act was signed into law by President Roosevelt on August 14, 1935 is about to end, and this is how it will happen.
The Republican party since that date has been trying to do away with this "Socialist Act" that is just the truth, no matter what they say in public. So don't vote against your own best interests and vote for President Trump!
The President wants to end the payroll tax that funds the Social Security Trust Fund, that is the truth!
In-fact it has already happened as of Sept. 1st. by Executive Order, Social Security is only partially funded till Jan. 1st.
If President Trump is re-elected this could made a permanent "Tax Cut" that will cost us all our retirement!
If the trust fund is not funded, it will run out completely by 2034!
So if you ever want to be able to retire, or if you don't want to have 65 million homeless seniors starving on the street. Stop voting for Republican candidates and that includes the President, NO OTHER VOTE MEANS MORE!
Vote for Joe Biden!

Most people forget that Capitalism is like walking on a tightrope and Socialism is the safety net. There is more incentive to reach for greater heights if you know that if you fall once or twice they aren't fatal because of the safety net, (Socialism) helped you get back up and try again.

Dear President Trump,
Now that you have said that you would except dirt from a Foreign Power against any American candidate for President, wile sitting in the Presidents' chair, behind the resolute desk.
I can only sadly say that you sir, are still just a bad actor trying to portray someone of importance.
Comparing Russia to the U.S. as equally to blame for the bad relations between both Countries and trying to cozy up to Dictators is very anti American!
Also having a private two hour meeting with Vladimir Putin without any other American Representative in the room, IS Collusion!

That is like saying the Allied Forces were just as much to blame for WWII as was Hitler and the Axis Powers! It is always our duty as Americans to stand up and fight against hate.
Sometimes a leader must forgo the will of the people who elected him, and show leadership by acting for the good of all the people. Even if by doing so, he angers those who have the most and care little if any about those who have the least...Remember, most people who cry about their Freedoms being infringed, do not have any problem depriving others of theirs.

When President Donald Trump took the podium for his second State of the Union address Tuesday night, he faced the most diverse Congress in U.S. history. One quarter of the 535 members are women. America , I don't know about you , but I thought that he blew enough smoke for 102 first dates. Why is it that when Republicans are in total power , they never want to even invite Democrats to the meetings, much less work together and compromise? Then when they have to share power, they make it seem that if the Democrats don't compromise with them, and they, are the ones being anti American! The false Patriotism is so hypocritical!! Giving tax breaks to Big Business and the Rich, then saying that we can't afford social programs ,
( Mr. Trump was initially resistant to calling for cuts to the programs, but his budget proposal last month did just that. The request, which is being ignored by Congress, proposed shaving $818 billion from projected spending on Medicare over 10 years. It also called for $26 billion less on Social Security programs, including a $10 billion cut to Social Security Disability Insurance, which provides benefits to disabled workers)
is par for the Republican course.
And a little history lesson that the President forgot to learn and tell in his address. Is that Socialism in America created the middle class (Social Security , Medicare , Labor Unions , Government Regulations on Big Business,
the Interstate highway system and the great military (The V.A. and the G.I. Bill) that we all brag about.
He might know that if he had ever been in the military or the middle class!

To the 23rd District,
I would like to thank all of the 10,414 voters who took the time to look at my website, read about my ideas and in a lot of cases voted out of their party, for a Common Man for Congress.
I will never forget you and this experience. I will always be forever grateful for your support.
Unfortunately, we did not win, that means my campaign must end. That does not mean I have to stop my protest movement to protect all of our personal freedoms. I will continue to put Country before party, and vote for the best candidate with the most common sense ideas, with strong plans for protecting our rights. We were not able to unseat Congressman Kevin McCarthy, but we let him know that a lot of voters in the 23rd District want him to start working for the common good, and stop the gridlock in Congress . Stop being afraid of your party ! Start working with the Democrats in pushing the President in a direction towards a better future for us all!
If not, you just might have a fight on your hands in 2020!
My hope is that we stay involved in the process that governs us, continue voting against Business and Politics as usual, and push for Governance and Leadership as promised. Because if we do not, the next generation will find themselves having to fight for the same rights and freedoms that this generation takes for granted, and our previous generations had to fight so hard to get.
Sometimes the only way to be true Patriots, and to Rebel against a system, that more and more does
not care about us, or want our input as to how it is being run, is by running for office, so it can be
changed from within. Maybe my run will start a trend of common sense candidates doing just that?
Just a few parting thoughts for all of you to ponder, before you cast your next vote.
