With the second indictment of the former President this year and the first time in History that any of the previous Presidents have ever been indicted. We should all be asking one simple question? Why Did Trump Keep Classified Documents? Did Trump keep those documents to sell them to the leaders of other countries. Please check out the cartoon and accompanying article by - TED VAILL

From USA Today
"Nearly 90% of Social Security's funding comes from payroll contributions, and if Trump terminated payroll contributions, the other funding sources would be insufficient," Benesch wrote in an emailed statement. "By law, Social Security is forbidden from paying benefits if there is not sufficient revenue to cover the cost." Nancy Altman, the president of Social Security Works, told USA TODAY that the Social Security trust fund has a surplus of $2.9 trillion – only enough to last three years without new tax revenue. "The payroll taxes bring in close to a trillion dollars every year, and the benefits cost around a trillion dollars," Altman said.
"By 2023, there's no more money in the trust fund."
But Altman admitted that the administration's actions to date "aren't going to end Social Security." It's what Trump has said he will do – terminate the tax – that they believe is equivalent to a promise to end Social Security. "That's why we've really focused on his words," she said. "He says, 'If elected, this is what I'm going to do.' And there's no question at all that that will, at the worst, end the program.

From the L.A. Times
To the editor: One of the biggest lessons learned in this pandemic is that mankind is the most damaging of all the invasive species on this planet. From the wildlife returning to their historic Sierra Nevada habitat, to the massive decreases in smog seen in Asian cities, to the impressive decreases in vehicle-related deaths in the United States, there seems to be no end to the positive impacts on the environment as a result of removing people from it. It is time to view population control as major tool in combating global warming and pollution, and in the recovery of endangered species. As Thomas Malthus once warned, nature will heal itself from human infection through war, famine or pestilence. Looks like we all just got a big dose of a natural remedy.

We now have the Judiciary Committee voting for just the 4th time in the history of the United States of America to Impeach the President of our Country. This is as sad a state of our political system, as has ever existed before, but not for the reason that most think. No other time in history has one Party, the Republicans, been so willing to condone the bad behavior of a President.
All three previous Impeachments had one truth in common, all three were guilty of bad behavior.
How can any American honestly say that President Trump is not also guilty of bad behavior?
Dec. 11th 2019
House judiciary committee just finished debating the Impeachment of President Trump.
It was more pontificating than debate, I wonder if the same charges were against any other President, (like President Obama) would the Republicans be so willing to excuse his conduct?

CNN reporter Vicki Ward;
Congressman Devin Nunes went on a secret trip to Vienna last December to meet with two foreign agents Lev Parnas, who has since been indicted, and fired Ukrainian prosecutor Victor Shokin, to try to get dirt on former Vice President Biden. To help the President.
He should have removed himself from the Impeachment hearings at the very least, don't you think? How many Republicans at the hearings are working for the President, and not for the People? We the People, pay their paychecks, not President Trump.
Maybe we should Fire all of them?

The former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine was told by Republicans that she had nothing to do with the impeachment of the President, while she was testifying in the impeachment hearing in Congress, and also in an extraordinary moment that Democrats said amounted to witness intimidation. President Trump blasted Marie Yovanovitch, a career diplomat with a stellar record, in a Presidential tweet, saying she was bad at her job among other things.
Voters, don't be fooled, A foreign agent named Lev Parnas that has since been indicted, and a cohort of former N.Y. City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and fired Ukrainian prosecutor Victor Shokin.
Parnas asked President Trump at a dinner at the White House, (there is a photo) to discredit and
fire Ambassador Yovanovitch, then paid $300k to the President's reelection campaign and the President put that payment before Country and fired her. Those are verifiable FACTS.
That is a BRIBE! pure and simple. Bribery is an Impeachable offence, and that is why she had everything to do with the impeachment hearings, and did not just go to the H.R. dept.
The phone calls to the President of Ukraine are more of the same, but harder to prove.
But a person that takes a bribe is very likely to offer one, don't you think?
Not one Republican Representative voted to put Country before Party!
I never want to hear these Republicans call themselves Patriots ever again!
They are only out for themselves, the Party and keeping their jobs, not doing their jobs!
Oct.31st 2019
The House voted 232 to 196 to approve Impeachment proceedings much along party lines, Happy Halloween!
Washington is a very scary place these days, when not one Republican Representative that works for the people in their Districts, has the backbone to vote to find the truth about the President and his actions for those voters they work for! Sadly our own Congressman Kevin McCarthy of the 23rd District was one of the 196 to vote against finding the truth about guilt or innocence of the President, why?
Only guilty people are afraid of the light of day.
Sadly this is our President and our Republican Leaders.
Also on another sad note Representative Katie Hill decided to resign from Congress over revenge porn pics that had been leaked, what a double standard when the President can have many affairs with actual Porn Stars and Rape allegations without as much as a one day news cycle spike?
Katie, you will be missed and so will your vote. You had my support, and you still do, because you have done nothing wrong. Keep your head up, and best of luck with the rest of your future.
Weeks ago, Trump launched a racist tirade against several women of color who serve in Congress, telling them to “go back” to their own countries. Most of them are serving their country of birth the U.S.A.

A man opened fire a synagogue in the city of Poway, just outside San Diego, leaving one woman dead and three other people injured, authorities in southern California have said. The shooting began at the Chabad of Poway synagogue just before 11.30am on Saturday. County sheriff William Gore said a white man had opened fire on worshipers with an AR-type assault weapon. San Diego Police chief David Nisleit said the 19-year-old suspect called police to report the shooting, and was subsequently arrested by a California Highway Patrol officer. Mr Nisleit said the suspect got out of his car with his hands up and was taken into custody without incident.
As a former resident of near by Lakeside, Ca. in my youth, my deepest condolences go out to all the residents of Poway, Ca. and especially the Jewish worshipers in the Chabad Synagogue at the time of the assault .
As for the man who did this cowardly act, and all of his ilk that believe in White Supremacy.
I would like to remind you all of a bit of history. White Supremacy has never proved true.
It has a record of 0-3 in war , The Civil War - LOSS , World War I - LOSS and World War II - LOSS !
More like White Bully Losers who think they are all that, until good people decide to fight back !
Then they are not supreme at all, and as history shows they always have and will lose.

A brief, partial shutdown of the federal government was resolved Monday, as the Senate and House approved legislation that would keep federal dollars flowing until Feb. 8, as well as fund the Children’s Health Insurance Program for the next six years.
But what nobody seems to be talking about, is what else is in this temporary 3 week spending bill that the President just signed and the Democrats agreed to. What everyone should remember about the Republicans is they have a one track mind, (kill Obamacare) by a thousand cuts if need be.
So what else is in this Bill?
It makes delays to three taxes under the Obama-era health care law: the medical device tax through 2019, the so-called Cadillac tax on generous employer-paid health care plans through 2021; and a tax on health insurance companies through 2019. So the suspension of the tax without an apparent pay-for is anticlimactic. Indeed, the suspension comes as part of a larger group of tax cuts that's expected to cost the nation $622 million, including a suspension of the so-called Cadillac tax on high-cost health insurance plans. The simple reality is that the funds from both the Cadillac tax and the medical device tax are important to funding the Affordable Care Act. How will the projected billions of dollars raised by these taxes be replaced?
The bill does not, however, extend funding for Community Health Centers, another bipartisan program whose funding is running out. That will have to wait for another bill.
So can we expect to lose our Healthcare one Temporary 3 Week Spending Bill at a time?

House Hopeful Calls Himself "Common Man"
written by Craig Currier.
Small Excerpt: A 44-year-old manager of two San Fernando Valley independent auto parts stores, Parker decided to run largely because he doesn't feel voters are being represented by McCarthy and other politicians in Washington. Parker and his 81-year-old father, fellow Mojave resident Robert, have been making their way through the district, in recent weeks meeting voters. Parker's political values don't fit in any familiar box. He describes himself as one who favors established rights and freedoms.

Mojave Man Running For Congress
written by Ed Gordon.
Small Excerpt: Eric Parker, a Mojave resident, has announced he will be running for U.S. Congress in the new 23rd District, against Republican Kevin McCarthy. "Two years ago only one person ran for congress,-Kevin McCarthy- and I didn't think it was correct that somebody should get a title without having to fight for it," Parker said." I'm tired of complaining about the state of our union, so instead of complaining about it, I will have to run against him."

Two vying to unseat Kevin McCarthy from Congress
written by Antonie Boessenkool.
Small Excerpt: Parker is running as a Republican, but calls himself a "freedomist". "I want people to know that no matter what party or what views they have, I'll always err on the side of their personal freedoms." As for going up against McCarthy, Parker said. "I think McCarthy is not as popular as his numbers show. He has not had any competition. So is he really popular or is he the only game in town? We're going to find out."
